You are bidding on a 5 liter Whisky aging white oak barrel with cross design. Comes with stand, bung, and spigot for aging whiskey or just a decoration for the bar or kitchen. Yes… this is a REAL oak aging barrel! The barrel is hand made from American White Oak and holds approximately 5 liters. They are charred inside with 4 steel hoops (bands) and ready to age your own Whiskey! Barrels ship boxed in a 12x12 inch box with instructions on how to age your spirits as well as cure and care for the barrel. See instructions below: Curing Your Barrel First rinse the inside of the barrel by filling and emptying 2 or 3 times to remove any wood debris. Prior to use, your barrel must be filled with water or submerged for approximately 3 to 5 days. This will allow the oak to expand and retain liquid. (the barrel will leak until cured) After this initial curing period, place the barrel on the holder in a dry area. Liquid will continue to slowly drain through the wood for the following 3 to 7 days. Keep the barrel filled during this time. When the barrel stops draining, empty the contents and rinse again. You are now ready to fill with your spirits. Filling with Spirits When filling your barrel with spirits, fill the barrel completely removing all air. Place the cork in tightly. Air inside the barrel will spoil the aging process. Aging Spirits When aging spirits, fill the barrel with your favorite spirit. Over time, the spirit will absorb the color of the oak becoming a golden brown. ...

The Ultimate Stovetop Still Maximum New 6 Gallon Model with Water Pump Cooling This is a new unique high quality pot still design. The best stills are made from the best pots. The six gallon boiler pot is of heavy guage (not the cheap foil thin type used on most stills sold on Ebay) highly polished stainless steel with a multi-element bottom for even heat distribution. It It is very durable and easy to clean. Allowing for expansion and boiling action of your fermented wash it is the perfect size for distilling a 5 gallon batch. This is a steam control type pot with very close fitting domed lid to prevent vapor escape. We also include two EPDM straps (rated for operating use up to 260 F) to provide extra downward pressure to insure a tight seal. The column is of 100mm (nearly 4 inches) OD copper and is 19 inches tall. It has a copper flange that is riveted and sealed to the lid. A water pump operated water jacket condenser is utilized. The water pump and two five foot lengths of water tubing are included. A lollypop style digital thermometer is also included for proper thermal management of the still. Only lead free non-leaching solder, materials and space age adhesives are used in the fabrication of this still. Immediate payment by PayPal is required. Photo is a stock photo.
