By leaving the Pinot Noir grape skins in contact with the crushed juice for just a few days, it is given a juicy pink or `rose` color. Bligny`s Rose is a wonderfully complex wine with fresh aromas of strawberry and pain grille, accentuated by ripe fruit and terrific acidity culminating in a long, tantalizing finish. This bottle is in Mint condition.w/ Original Wood Presentation case. Louis Roederer 1990 Cristal is A classic of power and finesse, richness and delicacy. An assertive, honeyed style, with plenty of citrus flavors. Mature coffee and roasted nut accents are peeking through, with a robust structure and a dried citrus aftertaste. The jewel in the Champagne Louis Roederer crown, Cristal, was created in 1876 for the Tsar Alexander II of Russia. Louis Roederer Cristal Champagne is rich and precise, glittering like flecks of gold in the glass, with just a hint of green. It exhibits amazing aromatic complexity, with scents of fresh almonds and sweet flowers, notes of peach, white chocolate, caramel and a hint of hazelnut. The palate is fleshy and smooth with mineral notes mid-palate. Refreshing crispness and a low dosage add to this wine s delicacy and strength. Perfectly poised between pinot noir s structure and chardonnay s finesse, one sip and the fine bubbles of this champagne will quickly remind you that you are drinking one of the world s finest bubblies.
